Block Grid
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Block Grid (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Google Play.
1. Who we are
Block Grid is a casual puzzle game published for Android by Hammad Siddiqui. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at sqhammad012@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or payment details through the App.
2.1 Information stored on your device
To make the game work, the App stores gameplay data locally on your device, which may include:
- Game progress, score, and related game-state settings
- In-app preferences needed to restore your session
This data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. We do not operate a user-account backend for Block Grid.
2.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. Ad requests in the App are configured to request non-personalized ads where supported. Google and its partners may still collect and process certain information to deliver and measure ads, such as:
- Device identifiers (for example, advertising ID)
- IP address and general device/network information
- App activity related to ad impressions and interactions
- Approximate location derived from IP address
This processing is performed by Google under its own policies. Learn more: Google Privacy Policy and AdMob & privacy.
3. How we use information
Information handled in connection with the App is used only to:
- Save and restore your local game progress
- Display ads and measure ad performance through Google AdMob
- Maintain and improve App stability and functionality
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data sharing
We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing. Advertising-related data may be processed by Google AdMob and its partners as part of showing ads in the App.
5. Data retention
Local game data remains on your device until you clear the App’s storage or uninstall the App. Advertising data retention is controlled by Google according to its policies.
6. Children’s privacy
Block Grid is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
7. Your choices and controls
- Local data: Uninstall the App or clear App storage in Android settings to remove locally stored game data.
- Ads / advertising ID: You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (for example, Android Settings → Google → Ads).
- Opt-out of interest-based ads: See Google’s tools and device settings for ad personalization controls.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information processed through the App. Because gameplay data is stored locally on your device, protecting your device access (screen lock, OS updates) also helps protect that data. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
9. International users
If you use the App from outside the country where our services are operated, advertising partners such as Google may process data in other countries. Those transfers are governed by the applicable third-party privacy terms.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will be revised when changes are posted. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
